Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on complex production equipment within our TX Northlake facility. The role includes working on conveyors, packaging machines, and processing systems in a climate-controlled environment.

You will inspect drives, motors, pumps, and hydraulic components, using precision tools to ensure proper clearances. Overtime and weekend work may be required as part of this full-time maintenance position.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Experience in manufacturing environment; food manufacturing a plus.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.

Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve efficiency, capability and yield.This is skilled mechanical work in the maintenance and repair of light to medium duty packaging, processing and building equipment such as conveyors, elevators, blowers, sifters, burners, grinders, conventional & high-speed packaging machines, labeling/printing equipment, vacuum & hydraulic pumps, and air compressors.* Operates and/or oversees the operation of packaging machines and processing systems in a **climate-controlled** environment.* Inspects, replaces, repairs and performs overhauls on mechanical drives/motors, pneumatic & hydraulic components, motor control center devices, transport conveyor systems and rotating, cutting, & grinding equipment.* Uses micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and other precision instruments to determine working clearances on mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components.* Performs typical maintenance repairs through assigned work orders.* Performs basic machine shop duties such as drilling, grinding, light metal fabrication, welding and machining.**Important Details:** This is a full-time permanent role on day shift, which operates from 6:00am to 6:30pm 2-2-3 rotating shifts.**About You:**You’ll fit right in if you have:* Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written* Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus* The ability to work overtime and weekends **Your TreeHouse Foods Career is Just a Click Away!**Click on the “Apply” button or go directly to www.treehousefoods.com/careers to let us know you’re ready to join our team!*At TreeHouse Foods, we embrace diversity and inclusion for innovation and growth.
