Job summary

Horsham Center for Jewish Life is seeking a skilled Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Department at our 324-bed long-term care community. The role involves routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and general building upkeep to keep residents safe and comfortable.

The position requires one weekend day per week, and prior maintenance experience in healthcare is preferred. Candidates should be able to troubleshoot independently and work well with staff while maintaining

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience required; healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform repairs independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work one weekend day each week.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and general maintenance throughout the facility.
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and minor HVAC repairs.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.

• Assist with maintaining the facility grounds and outdoor areas.
• Follow all safety, fire, and infection control regulations.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Horsham Center for Jewish Life is a 324-bed long-term care community dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents, families, visitors, and staff.

We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and hands-on Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Department.

This is a full-time position requiring one weekend day each week. The Maintenance Technician will help keep our facility operating safely and efficiently by handling routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and general building maintenance.
