Job summary

S2 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support The Breck property and its residents. You will complete service requests across common areas and units, inspect critical systems, and perform essential repairs. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and timely responses to maintenance needs.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, with a valid driver’s license and transportation. A rotating on-call schedule, a friendly team, and opportunities for growth are provided.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests for common areas and units as directed.
• Inspect appliances, A/C, plumbing, lighting, and safety devices.
• Perform routine plumbing repairs and appliance diagnostics.
• Assist with trash outs and unit turns.
• Carry out interior/exterior painting and minor carpentry.
• Respond to after-hours/weekend emergencies on a rotating on-call schedule.

Property Name:The BreckHow you’ll make an impact:Assisting residents and your maintenance team alikeAs a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for providing exceptional customer service through the completion of service requests.Proactively point out potential liabilities and assist in correcting them.What you’ll do:Complete service requests for common areas, occupied and vacant units, or anywhere on the property as directed. Service requests may include changing lightbulbs, unclogging pipes, fixing faucets, changing locks, floor tile installation and repair, and interior or exterior painting.Assist with trash outs and unit turns. Inspect the appliances, A/C system, toilets, faucets and showers, lights, disposals, and all safety devices.Perform routine plumbing repairs such as replacing/repairing/servicing water heaters, clearing drain lines, and replacing worn out washers, gaskets, facets and floats.Replace burned out, broken and/or nonworking exterior light bulbs and/or fixtures immediately.Carpentry repair such as kitchen cabinets, window screens/glass, door locks and plaster/drywallPerform routine mechanical repairs such as repairing/diagnosing all major appliances.Miscellaneous tasks such as interior and exterior painting, floor tile installation and repair, interior cleaning, lawn mowing, leaf raking, tree/shrub trimming, debris removal, and other landscaping duties.Who you are:Passionate about making an impact in the lives of your team and communityMust be detail oriented and observant.Problem solver.Possess a willingness to help.Valid driver license and auto liability insurance is requiredMust have reliable transportationYour core values:Positive attitudeOutstanding customer service; able to consistently surprise and delight our residentsA true team player - willing to work and support at all levelsOur Hours:9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday; 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday; closed, Sunday. The Maintenance Technician position requires the ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year. Hours of operation are subject to change on time of year and based on the Property’s needs and resident activities. The Maintenance Technician will be on a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours/weekend emergencies.Physical Demands:Ability to continuously walk for 8 or more hours per day. It is estimated a Maintenance Technician will spend 99-100% of their time moving and on their feet.Frequently moving boxes weighing up to 50 pounds across the office for various needs.
