A valid driver’s license is required. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor, handling service requests and on‑call emergencies with a resident‑focused approach.

Qualifications

• Three years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification (Type 1 & Type 2 or Universal).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
• Proficient with computers and online applications.
• Knowledge of Yardi, Entrata and HappyCo preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests and make-ready tasks as assigned.
• Maintain buildings and grounds; provide excellent resident service.

SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing maintenance service requests and repairs to the buildings and grounds as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor while providing excellent customer service to our residents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for completing all service requests as assigned.
• Responsible for the completion of all make-ready units.
• Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
• Responsible for supplying all personal tools.
• Responsible for cleaning work area, tools and equipment.
• Assists in preventive maintenance projects.
• Escalate unresolved service issues to the Service Director.
• Participates in "on call" rotation and responds to emergency calls as needed.
• Responsible for positive communications with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
• Be aware of and operate within company safety policies at all times.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Adhere to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing.
• Other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
