Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform and improve maintenance on blow molding and injection equipment, ensuring uninterrupted operations and high-quality output. You will execute preventative maintenance, participate in changeovers, and repair spare parts while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with Husky, Sidel, Milacron and packaging equipment preferred.
• Solid hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance for blow molding and injection molding equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Execute and improve preventative maintenance procedures.
• Participate in changeovers and ensure efficient, correct execution.
• Repair and rebuild spare parts as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols, quality standards and procedures.
• Pursue formal training and on-the-job learning, including new equipment installations and modifications.

As a Maintenance Technician, you perform, monitor & evaluate preventative maintenance plans, while continually work towards improving equipment & processes. You Will

• Perform maintenance for blow molding & injection molding manufacturing equipment to assure uninterrupted & optimal operations
• Execute & continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures
• Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient & correct execution
• Repair & rebuilds spare parts
• Assure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices & procedures
• Expand your expertise through formal training & on-the-job experiences, including new equipment installation & equipment modification projects

You Have

• Ability to work 6:45 am to 3 pm, Monday - Friday, along with overtime, as needed
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with Husky, Sidel, Milacron, conveyors, case packers and box machine is preferred.
• Solid hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical knowledge, along with the ability to troubleshoot & problem solve
• Ability to read and interpret technical & operational documents, including manuals, blueprints, schematics
• ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet with or without reasonable accommodation
