Job summary

Mullican Flooring in Holland, NY is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, test and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems across our hardwood manufacturing operations. You will troubleshoot equipment, fabricate and install components, and support production teams to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have hands-on welding or mechanical experience, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with operators and maintenance staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Welding or mechanical work experience is a plus.
• Must be able to interface and communicate with line operators to assist with repairs and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, test, and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and restore operation.
• Provide skilled mechanical support to all areas of manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components including sprockets, chains, bearings, gearboxes, some electrical, and forklifts.
• Take on other duties as assigned.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Summary

Mullican Flooring, a member of the Baillie Group, is hiring for an Industrial Maintenance Technician at their Holland, NY location. This is a full time opportunity working for a hardwood flooring manufacturer.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Conducts, maintains, tests, repairs mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.
• Applies knowledge of mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation.
• Provides skilled mechanical support to all areas of manufacturing.
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic including but not limited to sprockets, chains, bearings, gearboxes, some electrical, and forklifts.
• Other duties/responsibilities may be assigned.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• Any welding or mechanical work is a plus.
• Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment, and especially must be able to interface and communicate with line operators in order to assist with repairs and troubleshooting.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Pay and Benefits:

• Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $18 - $25/hour*
