Job summary

The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing at South Point is urgently hiring a Maintenance Technician in Island Park, NY. The role reports to the Director of Maintenance and focuses on upkeep of resident areas, painting, and general maintenance tasks.

The position requires physical ability, teamwork, and weekend availability, with electrical and plumbing experience advantageous. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work in the United States.
• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Weekend work required.
• Must meet Department of Health requirements.

Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: $24.65 per hour

Job Type: Full-time,

Location: Island Park, NY

Duties Include:

• Will be supervised by the Director of Maintenance.
• Painting Resident rooms and other parts of the Facility.
• General maintenance experience preferred.
• Moving materials from room to room etc.

Requirements Include:

• Ability to lift and move at least 50 to 100 lbs.
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work in the United States.
• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Must be willing to work weekends.
• Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health.

Must have electrical and plumbing experience.
