Job summary

The Grand Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Tech and/or Floor Tech to support facility upkeep and groundskeeping within our rehabilitation and nursing facility. Flexibility with schedule and weekend work is required, with pay between $19 and $21 per hour depending on experience.

Ideal candidates have general maintenance knowledge, including plumbing and electrical experience, and can lift 50–100 lbs while working under supervision to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained

Key Responsibilities

• General Maintenance Tasks: Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the facility, including painting resident rooms and other areas.
• Plumbing & Electrical: Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Material Movement: Move materials and equipment between rooms and different areas of the facility as necessary.
• Property Maintenance - maintain lawns and facility landscaping.
• Emergency Response: Be available to respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed. (Plowing, salting, snow and ice removal)
• Supervision: Work under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience: General maintenance knowledge, including experience with plumbing and electrical systems.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move at least 50 to 100 lbs.
• Work Schedule: Must be available to work one weekend per month.
• Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Regulatory Compliance: Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health.
• Emergency Response: Willingness to respond to emergency calls as required.
