Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Maintenance Technician in New Haven, CT. The role involves performing maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment under the direction of the Building Supervisor.

Responsibilities include renovation/remodeling assistance, plaster and drywall repairs, painting, grounds maintenance, snow removal, and on-call tasks. A High School Diploma or GED is required along with a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience.
• Basic computer skills and clear communication abilities.
• Experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, painting, repairs, carpentry or electrical work is preferred.

Aspire Living & Learning is currently seeking a Maintenance Associate to perform maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment under the direction of the Building Supervisor. Assists with the renovation/remodeling of buildings; repairs plaster and drywall; painting, performs grounds maintenance such as snow removal, sanding, on call responsibilities, and other maintenance tasks as required.

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Empathy, enthusiasm, and a passion and dedication for helping others.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required, with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Experience in the following strongly preferred: maintenance, groundskeeping, painting, repairs, carpentry, electrical, etc.
