Job summary

Rosewood Park Apartments seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day property upkeep and resident-ready refurbishments. You will perform basic electrical/plumbing repairs, appliance service, and general handyman tasks to ensure unit readiness and safety.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience, own tools, reliable transport, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. On-call duties and positive interactions with residents and vendors are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to take on-call duties.
• Own tools are required.
• Reliable transportation is needed.
• High School education or equivalent.
• Training in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or appliances is a plus.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Minimum two years related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of A/C heating.
• Plumbing and installation of fixtures.
• Light electrical repairs.

Responsibilities

Rosewood Park Apartments looking for a qualified full time Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician maintains the day-to-day operations and is responsible for maintaining the property.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Refurbishing of apartments prior to resident occupancy
• Performing basic electrical, plumping, appliance repairs, and general handyman skills.
• Grounds maintenance
• Keeping accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, work orders, inspections and inventories
• Positive interaction with coworkers, residents and vendors

Required Skills

• Must be able to take on-call duty’s
• Have own tools
• Reliable transportation
• High School Education or equivalent
• Training in some or all of these areas a plus: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills
• Must be self-motivated and willing to take initiative.
