Job summary

PK Companies in Navasota, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our affordable housing property management team. This full-time position provides on-site maintenance, basic repairs, and responsive service to residents. You will handle repairs, grounds upkeep, preventive tasks, and after-hour on-call as needed.

We offer medical, dental, vision benefits, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. Pay is $18–$19 per hour. Prior maintenance experience preferred; own tools helpful.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance or related fields preferred.
• Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment.
• Must have own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings.
• Grounds work, maintain all common areas, outside and inside as needed.
• Snow Removal and After hour Emergency Maintenance.
• Complete maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely fashion.
• Order and replace broken parts or equipment.
• Maintain a clean and a safe work space.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical and flooring repair.
• On-Call as needed.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
