Job summary

PK Companies is seeking a motivated maintenance technician to join the team at our property management company. This full-time role includes medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, paid time off and holidays. The position offers a compensation of $19 per hour.

Responsibilities include repairing equipment and buildings, grounds maintenance, snow removal, timely completion of work orders, and preparing vacant apartments for new residents. On-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance or related fields preferred.
• Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Electrical knowledge or certification helpful.
• Experience with boilers and cooling towers preferred.
• Customer service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings.
• Grounds work; maintain all common areas, inside and outside.
• Snow removal and after-hour emergency maintenance.
• Complete maintenance and repair work orders promptly.
• Order and replace broken parts or equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work space.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical and flooring repair.
• On-Call as needed.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
