Job summary

PK Companies in Alvarado, TX seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair building systems and grounds. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to work orders, and support resident services to ensure safe and comfortable communities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance or related fields preferred
• Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
• Must have own hand tools
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Electrical knowledge is helpful
• Experience with boiler and cooling towers preferred

Responsibilities

• Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings
• Grounds work, maintain all common areas, inside and outside as needed
• Snow removal and after-hours emergency maintenance
• Complete maintenance and repair work orders in a timely fashion
• Order and replace broken parts or equipment
• Maintain a clean and a safe work space
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents
• Painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical and flooring repair
• On-call as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

$21 - $25 per hour based on experience

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
