Job summary

PK Companies is a property management company seeking a motivated maintenance technician to join the team. We pride ourselves on a family work culture and opportunities to develop. PK Companies manages affordable housing across the U.S.

This full-time role offers medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, PTO and holidays. Salary is $21–$26 per hour. You will handle repairs, groundskeeping, after-hour maintenance and prepare units for new residents.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to handle physical workload.
• Electrical knowledge or certification helpful.
• Experience with boilers or cooling towers preferred.
• Customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings.
• Grounds work, maintain all common areas, outside and inside as needed.
• Snow removal and after hour emergency maintenance.
• Complete maintenance and repair work orders promptly.
• Order and replace broken parts or equipment.
• Maintain a clean and a safe work space.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical and flooring repair.
• On-Call as needed.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

• Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings
