Job summary

The Nugent Sand Company, Inc. in Muskegon, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the sand plant and equipment running safely and reliably. You will inspect equipment, troubleshoot problems, perform repairs and preventative maintenance, and work with the Plant Foreman on machines that wash, dry, screen, and move sand.

Outdoor work and overtime may be required. Training on 1st shift. We offer a competitive starting hourly rate of $23.85 plus overtime after 8 hours, 100% company-paid

• Troubleshoot problems and work with the Plant Foreman.
• Welding and basic fabrication as part of repairs.

Nugent Sand has been producing industrial lake sand in Muskegon since 1912. The company dredges sand from their lake and then washes, dries, screens, and blends it into specialized products used by customers throughout the country. What You'll Do:

We are looking for a MaintenanceTechnician to keep our sand plant and equipment running safely and reliably. You'll inspect equipment, troubleshoot problems, and perform repairs and preventative maintenance to help avoid breakdowns. Working with the Plant Foreman, you'll maintain the machines that wash, dry, screen, and move sand, replace worn parts, and handle welding and basic fabrication. This hands-on role includes outdoor work and may require different hours or overtime to complete repairs outside production hours. Your training will be conducted on 1st shift .
