The Nugent Sand Company, Inc. in Muskegon, Michigan is seeking a General Maintenance team member to keep our sand plant and equipment running safely and reliably.

You’ll inspect equipment, troubleshoot problems, and perform repairs and preventative maintenance to help avoid breakdowns, working outdoors with possible overtime on early shifts. Qualifikationen

• Experience maintaining industrial processing equipment.
• Ability to read maintenance manuals and schematics.
• Capable of lifting and working outdoors in variable conditions.
• Pass a physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.

Nugent Sand has been producing industrial lake sand in Muskegon since 1912. The company dredges sand from their lake and then washes, dries, screens, and blends it into specialized products used by customers throughout the country. What You'll Do:

We are looking for a General Maintenance team member to keep our sand plant and equipment running safely and reliably. You'll inspect equipment, troubleshoot problems, and perform repairs and preventative maintenance to help avoid breakdowns. Working with the Plant Foreman, you'll maintain the machines that wash, dry, screen, and move sand, replace worn parts, and handle welding and basic fabrication. This hands‑on role includes outdoor work and may require different hours or overtime to complete repairs outside production hours. Your training will be conducted on 1st shift .
