Job summary

Lorien Mount Airy is seeking a Maintenance Tech to join our care-focused team in Mount Airy, MD. You will perform timely maintenance and repairs on interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring safe operations and comfort for residents.

This full-time role runs 8:30a-5p with every-other weekend on-call support and opportunities for professional development. We value hands-on skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC and offer competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or related fields.
• Strong HVAC knowledge or certification.
• Carpentry, plumbing, painting and electrical experience.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Completing work and repair orders in a timely fashion.
• Performing routine preventive maintenance inside and outside of the building.
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary.

Overview

Lorien Mount Airy is looking to hire a Maintenance Tech to join our existing team.

The tech helps to fulfill the care requirements of our patients. They will be responsible for proper and safe preparation, repair, application and continuing maintenance of painted or related surfaces, both interior and exterior of Lorien

Responsibilities

• Completing work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Performing routine preventive maintenance inside and outside of the building
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
• Carpentry experience, preferred
• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Strong HVAC knowledge or certification
• Must have the ability to handle a physical workload
• Plumbing, painting and electrical experience
