Job Description:
This position is a general maintenance position for upkeep of the facility, including plumbing, electrical, welding, and carpentry tasks.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform tasks for the upkeep of the buildings and the grounds
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all machinery
  • Perform oil changes and fluid level checks on all forklifts and machinery
  • Use carpentry, plumbing, and electrical for minor repairs
  • Perform preventive maintenance of pumps and motors
  • Perform basic welding tasks, ie, MIG and stick welding
  • Maintain a clean and pristine work area at all times
  • Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management
  • Serve as liaison with vendors for facility repairs
  • Purchase equipment/supplies for facility-related repairs

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two or more years of maintenance experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • General knowledge in maintenance, specifically in carpentry, plumbing, welding, and electrical skills.
  • General knowledge of working with small pumps and motors.
  • Ability to read and understand manuals to assist in repairs.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekend hours.
