Job summary

Higher levels involve mid- to advanced PLC and robotics work with support for junior technicians. Qualifications include vocational training in industrial maintenance, experience with mechanical and electrical controls, and PLC/HMI/robot programming

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance and safety checks of machines and equipment.
• Fabrication and welding for equipment installation and maintenance.
• Document preventive maintenance and corrective activities in maintenance log.
• Assist with level 2 and 3 tasks including PLC/robot adjustments and system programming.
• Provide support to Level 1 and Level 2 technicians and help manage sub projects.

## Maintenance TechnicianApply: Morganfield, KY: Full time: Posted Yesterday: R\\_00106383**Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!**# Responsibilities:Maintenance Technician Level 1Perform assigned daily inspections, preventive maintenance and safety checks of all machines and equipment defined in the maintenance operational system and listing of Key Equipment.Fabrication and welding of items necessary for equipment installation and maintenanceUtilize skills and knowledge to evaluate repair issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems of the machinesInstallation of utilities to machines (electrical, pneumatic and cooling water)Document preventive maintenance to CMM software (PMC) and corrective maintenance activities in the maintenance log book.Maintenance Technician Level 2In addition to the requirements of Level 1 Technician the Level 2 Technician will:Perform midlevel programming and adjustment of PLC’s, robots and Vision inspection systems.Interpret specifications, read schematics and manuals to determine corrective measures required for proper maintenance and repair.Maintenance Technician Level 3In addition to the requirements of Level 1 and 2 Technician, the Level 3 Technician will:Perform advanced programming and adjustment of PLC’s, robots and Vision inspection systems.Assist maintenance supervisor in spare parts inventory control through utilization of the CMM software system (PMC)Utilize supervisory skills to manage sub projects in the Maintenance DepartmenProvide support and training to Level 1 and Level 2 Maintenance Technicians# Qualifications:Vocational training in Industrial Maintenance.Related experience with mechanical and electrical systems and controls.
