Kemps LLC seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our Minneapolis plant running smoothly. You will fix equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic work, plus installing new equipment and documenting repairs. Safety and quality are top priorities; high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Technical training (maintenance or trade school) a plus.
  • 1+ year maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLCs, or HVAC equipment helpful.
  • Strong mechanical skills and willingness to learn.

Maintenance Technician - Kemps Minneapolis

Starting Wage: $36.25/hour

Schedule: Overnight, 10 hour shift

Kemps is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to help keep our plant running strong. In this role, you'll fix equipment, prevent breakdowns, and support daily production.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Fix and maintain production and packaging machines

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Strong attention to safety and quality
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn
Requirements

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Active, hands-on role (standing, walking, bending most of shift)
  • Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Work in cold production areas (gear provided)
  • Exposure to noise and production environment (PPE provided)
