Job summary

Kemps LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Building Utilities Mechanic to join our manufacturing team on a 12-hour night shift (7pm-7:30am) running Sunday, Friday and Saturday. The role focuses on maintaining refrigeration, electrical, PLC, hydraulic systems and other utilities essential to operations.

The ideal candidate has completion of a BUM program or equivalent maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of food safety and sanitary standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of Building Utilities Mechanic (BUM) program, equivalent training, or 2-3 years Maintenance experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing maintenance setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot building utilities and manufacturing systems.
• Ensure refrigeration, electrical, PLC and hydraulic systems operate reliably.
• Work overtime as required to support production schedules.

Shift is Sunday, Friday, Saturday from 7pm-7:30am (12 hour shifts)

$36.00/hour

Description:

-Mechanic with effective problem solving & troubleshooting skills.

-Understanding of food safety and sanitary expectations preferred.

-Competent or trained in Industrial Systems: Refrigeration Systems Electrical Systems PLC Systems Hydraulic Systems

Must be able to work Overtime.
