Job summary

Great Lakes Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team at University Village, Minneapolis, MN. The role is full-time with hours 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday, supporting maintenance of all building systems and grounds.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, reporting issues, and ensuring compliance with codes. Benefits include 401(k) match, healthcare, paid time off, holidays, and DailyPay.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in maintenance, preferably residential property management.
• Skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, appliances, doors & Windows.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining all mechanical equipment, emergency systems, building fixtures and groundwork as needed.
• Complete all work orders quickly and efficiently.
• Report any problems/deficiencies.
• Knowledgeable of building codes and regulatory compliance issues.
• Interacts positively with all team members in maintaining census by immediately completing apartment turns.
• Maintain the grounds; trash, sweep, dumpster areas, snowplow, etc.
• Test the resident security systems as required.
• Assist with custodial duties which include but not limited to, trash removal, carpet cleaning, etc.
• Perform any maintenance task necessary as directed.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

This position is required to participate in an on-call rotation, 3-4 weeks off-call and 1 week on-call.

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
40 hours per week
