Job Function and Scope

This Maintenance Technician role supports manufacturing operations onsite in Milwaukee, WI. The Maintenance Technician maintains equipment through preventive measures and troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical devices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose, Repair, and Install Machine Components (40%)
  Engage daily with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric systems for production and building equipment using evaluations, blueprints, manuals, and OEM support to minimize downtime.
• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (30%)
  Maintain parts inventory and perform scheduled lubrication and mechanical maintenance on various equipment including building, foundry, machining, polishing, plating, injection molding, and other building equipment.
• Contractor and Engineering Engagement (20%)
  Coordinate with contractors and support staff to maintain schedules for new systems and OEM updates. Collaborate with engineering to develop new systems to reduce waste on the production floor.
• All other duties as assigned (10%)

Education and/or Experience

Required: High school diploma or equivalent, coursework toward Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic Technology or two years of work experience, industrial equipment repair exposure, experience with Microsoft Office.

Preferred: Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance Studies, PLC/automation exposure.

Salary

Starting at $38.10 per hour.
