Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings, equipment, and appliances; perform repairs and replacements as needed
• Diagnose and repair appliance issues, minor repairs like fixtures, leaks, and clogged toilets
• Ensure safety by removing hazards and preparing emergency procedures
• Develop maintenance policies and standards
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site workers
• Check electrical wiring for safety and compliance
• Communicate with management and consultants
• Prepare vacated units for new residents
• Plan and schedule maintenance requests
• Train new maintenance staff

Minimum requirements

• 18 years or older
• Ability to lift 75 lbs, safe bending and lifting
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Flexibility for on-call emergency work
• High school diploma or equivalent
