Job summary

Henkel Corporation in Mentor, OH is seeking a maintenance technician for a modified 2nd shift. Schedule includes Saturday 10:30pm–6:30am and Tue–Fri 2:30pm–10:30pm.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial mixing and filling equipment, conveyors, motors, pumps, and robotics. Maintain logs in CMMS and support changeovers and calibrations in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining industrial equipment and systems.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
• Familiarity with CMMS for logs and work orders.
• Strong commitment to safety procedures including LOTO.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Mon–Fri Second Shift.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mixing, filling equipment, conveyance systems, motors, pumps, and robotics.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Inspect equipment to identify wear, leaks or potential failures before production impact.
• Support changeovers, adjustments, and calibrations to meet production needs.
• Maintain maintenance logs and documentation in CMMS.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to improve equipment reliability.
• Assist installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Adhere to safety standards and company maintenance policies.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain housekeeping in maintenance and production areas.

What you´ll do

• Schedule: Monday - Friday Second Shift
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial mixing and filling equipment, conveyance systems, motors, pumps, and robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Conduct equipment inspections to identify wear, leaks, or potential failures before they impact production.
• Support equipment changeovers, adjustments, and calibrations to meet production needs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation in the CMMS system.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
• Adhere to all safety standards, LOTO procedures, and company maintenance policies.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and organization in maintenance and production areas.
