Job summary

The Waffle House, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support multiple restaurants in and around the McDonough, GA area.

You will install and repair restaurant and refrigeration equipment, and perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roof, and cosmetic repairs as needed. Ideal candidates are detail oriented, capable of working independently within a team, and prepared for rotating on-call duties on weekends, nights, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic plumbing knowledge is required.
• Basic building electrical wiring (low voltage and 120/208 volt) knowledge.
• Able to use small power/hand tools safely and effectively.
• HVAC repair experience for units up to 5 ton.
• EPA Universal Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair restaurant and refrigeration equipment as needed.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and roofing tasks along with door and tile work.

JOB DETAILS

The Waffle House Maintenance Technician will be responsible for multiple restaurants in and around the geographical area. Job responsibilities will include installation and repair of restaurant and refrigeration equipment, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, roof repair and replacement of doors, blinds, tiles, etc.

Required Experience

• Basic Plumbing
• Basic building electrical wiring (low voltage and 120/208 volt, single and 3 phase service)
• Use of small power/hand tools
• HVAC repair for units up to 5 ton
• EPA Universal Certification
