Job summary

RR AND COMPANY REALTY LLC is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to oversee day-to-day operations across our apartment properties. You will perform tasks including cleaning, painting, minor electrical and plumbing, and carpentry, while addressing tenant maintenance queries and maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate is organized, thorough, and proactive about adopting new tools and techniques to improve efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
• Understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques.
• Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends.
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Repair toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and exterior drains.
• Oil door knobs, locks, hinges, and gates as needed.
• Replace/repair carpets and wooden floors.
• Install and repair wires, plugs, and switches.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces.
• Haul and dispose of trash and construction debris.
• Track inventory to ensure maintenance supplies are available.
• Ensure fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, and emergency exits work properly.
• Schedule repairs requiring special technical skills.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician's responsibilities include cleaning communal areas, and performing painting, minor electrical, minor plumbing, and carpentry duties. You will also resolve tenants' maintenance-related queries and complaints as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and unclogging toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and exterior drains.
• Oiling door knobs, locks, hinges, and gates, as required.
• Replacing/repairing carpets and wooden floors.
• Installing and repairing wires, plugs, and switches.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Hauling and disposing of trash and other construction debris.
• Tracking inventory to ensure that you have adequate maintenance supplies.
