Windfeel Properties in New Orleans is seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities running smoothly. You will perform routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, inspect for damage, and carry out repairs to ensure safe, efficient operation.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of maintenance experience and strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, with a reliable work ethic and good communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

• Document repairs and service history.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance measures.
• Handle light maintenance tasks (paint, drywall, etc.).
• Travel to properties around New Orleans to inspect sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
• Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced using company tools
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
• Handle light maintenance tasks as needed (toilet repair, small plumbing repair, paint, drywall, etc.)
• Travel to various properties throughout the city inspecting properties

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
• Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
• Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on some nights and weekends
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
