Job summary

Nova Property Mgmt is seeking a hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform routine maintenance to keep our facilities running smoothly, inspect buildings for damage, and handle apartment turnovers with painting, drywall, and lighting replacements.

Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in maintenance, knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and willingness to be on-call nights and weekends to support

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Some knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
• Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques.
• Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends.
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct unit turnovers for apartments including painting, patch drywall, and replacing light fixtures.
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep equipment operating efficiently and prevent safety risks.
• Ability to lift heavy items, climb ladders, and stand for long hours.
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed.
