Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out maintenance processes including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Support the make-ready process under supervision, ensuring operational objectives are met.
• Respond to resident and management requests promptly.
• Perform repairs and replacements in community areas and units.
• Assist with maintenance/repair-related turn events and general upkeep of the community.
• Maintain pool and grounds, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct daily inspections to identify hazards and ensure safety standards.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA guidelines, and maintain organized, stocked maintenance areas.
• Participate in emergency on-call duties and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and foster positive resident relations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with onsite software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Regular movement, including climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting objects over 100 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.

License and Equipment

• Reliable transportation for emergency on-call duties.

Salary Range: $25 - $28 per hour. Asset Living offers comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401K, bonuses, paid sick days, and holidays.
