Sunbelt Rentals, the fastest-growing rental business in North America, is seeking a Service Technician. You will enhance customer service by performing preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment efficiently to prevent downtime. This includes diagnosing complex equipment problems, especially on aerial lift equipment, following all safety rules.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Service equipment to prevent unnecessary downtime and ensure proper working condition
• Dismantle, reassemble, and rebuild equipment as needed
• Diagnose and repair mechanical problems
• Fabricate parts as needed
• Perform safety inspections on equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Meet safety requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical degree preferred
• 3+ years’ experience with heavy/diesel equipment or similar
• Experience with aerial lifts (JLG, Genie, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and flexibly
• High safety-awareness
• Knowledge of equipment design and safety

The physical demands include bending, squatting, reaching, lifting 50+ pounds, and working indoors/outdoors as required. Reasonable accommodations will be made as per law.

Base Pay Range

$25.18 - $36.19
