Job summary

Sun Realty of Nags Head Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time, year-round role in our property portfolio. You will perform general maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and help keep vacation homes in excellent condition across our rental portfolio.

Qualifications include 2+ years in maintenance, basic carpentry and plumbing knowledge, and a valid NC driver’s license with a clean MVR. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required; we offer competitive pay and a solid benefits package.

Requirements for Success:

• 2+ years of valuable experience in general maintenance
• Basic carpentry skills that showcase your craftsmanship, advanced carpentry skills a PLUS.
• A valid driver's license for at least 3 years with a clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Basic knowledge of residential plumbing

Requirements

Physical/Mental Demands: Hearing, speaking, seeing, walking, standing, sitting, driving, reaching bending climbing steps/ladders, and lifting 50-85+ pounds; reading, comprehension, legible writing skills and effective written and verbal communication in the English language.

Machines/Equipment: A valid, active NC driver license for a minimum of 3 years (clean MVR); the operation of basic tools and equipment; smart phone or similar electronic device.

Work Environment: Exposed to outside weather conditions, fast paced, physically strenuous; working in attics or crawl spaces; climbing flights of steps inside and out; maneuvering a vehicle in congested traffic.
