Aegis Manufacturing & Engineering in Madison, WI is hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a heavy manufacturing facility. This hands-on role keeps production equipment running through electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs.

Multiple shifts are available with competitive pay and significant overtime opportunities. Expect 50–60 hours per week; shifts include a 5% differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance at a heavy manufacturing facility.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills; 480V experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• PLC, robotics, automation, VFD, or CNC troubleshooting is a plus.
• Technical degree is helpful but not required with strong hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment

• $28–$43/hour, depending on experience
• 5% shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift
• Overtime paid at 1.5x, Sundays at 2x, and holidays at 3x
• Currently averaging 50–60 hours per week

• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose motors, sensors, VFDs, controls, and other industrial equipment
• Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics

Requirements

• Previous industrial maintenance experience
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills; 480V experience preferred

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
