This Monday-Friday position requires candidates to maintain two apartment communities, responding to select after-hours emergencies and ensuring properties are in prime working order. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of maintenance experience and must be able to work on-call.

Job description

This is a Monday-Friday position providing maintenance for two apartment communities. Candidates must have the ability to be on-call and respond to property for select after‑hours emergencies. Pre‑employment background check and drug testing required.

Responsible for the appearance and working order of the property structures, facilities and systems including the individual apartment homes, exterior and common areas.

Works with property managers, vendors, and residents to diagnose, assess, and repair issues including general electrical, plumbing, appliances, and walls.

Responsible for detail turnover and make‑ready of vacant apartments.

Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions. Uses equipment and materials properly.

Qualifications

• Apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and car insurance.
• Willing to be on‑call and occasionally work after‑hours, including weekends.
• Problem solving, planning, and organizational skills.
