Job summary

Sayre Christian Village in Lexington, KY is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our faith-based nonprofit team serving older adults. This full-time role emphasizes making a meaningful difference with compassionate service and reliable facility upkeep.

You will diagnose and repair malfunctions, perform preventative maintenance, and use a variety of tools to keep the campus and residential areas in excellent condition.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in maintenance with ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose property malfunctions, replace and repair parts, then test to ensure proper operation.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Use hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material handling equipment to complete tasks.
• Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry tasks as needed.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose property malfunctions, replace and repair parts, then test to make adjustments.
