Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation, Liquibox division, is seeking a maintenance technician to perform mechanical/electrical tasks across our packaging operations in Kentucky. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and production uptime, with hands-on preventive maintenance and equipment improvements.

You will troubleshoot, calibrate, install and overhaul equipment, work with PLCs, and support a proactive maintenance team.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Industrial Electronics or related field.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance to meet safety, quality, and production requirements.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate equipment; install and modify as needed.
• Overhaul and inspect machinery; rebuild components; support plant goals.

Job Description

Shift: Morning - 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Rotating Shift Schedule
Shift Premium Amount: $0.50
Pay Rate: $30.00

Liquibox, under the Sealed Air organization

• Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance to meet safety, housekeeping, quality, cost and production requirements with minimal supervision.
• Perform trouble shooting and calibration.
• Perform overhauls and preventative maintenance inspections on machinery and equipment.
• Install new equipment and make modifications to existing equipment.
• Rebuild equipment components.
• Perform standard maintenance tasks to maintain facilities and grounds.
• Accept personal responsibility for condition of assigned equipment.
• Prepare written and verbal reports/recommendations.
• Assist other maintenance team members as required in support of plant goals.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2 year technical degree preferred

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Industrial Electronics or related field
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers preferred
• Strong electrical background

Other Requirements:

• Teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Safety conscious mindset
• Experience using a computer (Maximo, MS Office).
• Ability to drive a forklift and scissor lift preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Able to frequently lift up to 40lbs
• Able to constantly work in a non-conditioned environment
• Able to frequently ascend/descend ladders/stairs as required to repair equipment
