Job summary

AUTOKINITON Lebanon, TN is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing facility. You will perform preventative maintenance on stamping presses, robotic systems, and assembly lines, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, and document all work in our CMMS.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Experience with stamping press maintenance and robotic systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and lines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
• Install and repair industrial machinery per specifications.
• Read blueprints and schematics and document activities in CMMS.
• Maintain parts inventory and submit purchase requests as needed.
• Schedule maintenance with production teams to minimize impact.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed throughout all tasks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement for equipment reliability.
• Assist in training junior technicians and support facility upkeep.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our operations team at our Lebanon, TN facility. This role is critical to maintaining the operational efficiency of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring all equipment meets safety standards and production requirements. This position reports directly to the Operations Supervisor and Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including stamping presses, robotic systems, and assembly lines


• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems


• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime


• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery according to specifications


• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics


• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in the maintenance management system


• Maintain inventory of spare parts and submit purchase requests when necessary


• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal impact on operations


• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures


• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance


• Assist in training junior maintenance personnel


• Perform facility maintenance as needed

PAY AND SHIFT INFORMATION

• Hourly wage range: $30.00 - $38.50 per hour, commensurate with experience and skills


• Full-time, regular position


• Potential for overtime during critical maintenance periods


• Various shift options available based on operational needs


• Tool allowance provided for Skilled Trades Associates

• Knowledge of robotic systems maintenance


• Experience with preventative maintenance programs


• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems


• Experience with electrical troubleshooting (480V systems)


• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards


• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems


• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics


• Experience with welding and fabrication techniques


• Proven track record of minimizing equipment downtime


• Ability to work various shifts as needed
