Job summary

WyoTech is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team on campus. The role involves preventive maintenance, repairs, and grounds upkeep to keep our campus safe, clean, and fully operational. The ideal candidate is hands-on, delivers quality work, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Starting salary ranges from $18.00 to $28.35 per hour DOE. Laramie, WY campus offers tuition reimbursement, strong benefits, PTO, and 401K options.

Qualifications

• Punctual for scheduled shifts.
• Experience in maintenance, construction, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, or related trades.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment including snow removal equipment, skid steers, and scissor lifts.
• Able to handle physical workload.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete work and repairs in a timely fashion.
• Estimate time and extent of repairs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on commercial buildings.
• Perform general ground maintenance, snow removal, lawn mowing, weed control, etc.
• Work with and/or oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary.
• Help keep buildings in a clean, orderly, and functional condition.
• Other duties as assigned.

WyoTech is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team. In this role, you will help ensure our campus remains safe, clean, and fully operational by performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and grounds maintenance across our facilities. The ideal candidate is hands-on, takes pride in delivering quality work, and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
