Job summary

Lehigh Valley Dairy Farms, a farmer-owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America, is hiring for a hands-on maintenance role. Diagnose and repair production equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and support new equipment installations to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC/HMI, or HVAC.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills; English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair production, processing, and packaging equipment — planned, unplanned, and emergency.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs and routine reliability assessments.
• Interpret schematics, service manuals, and work orders to drive fast, accurate repairs.
• Support new equipment installation and cross-train operators to minimize downtime.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and take the initiative to act on them.
• Anticipate parts needs and manage procurement ahead of scheduled tasks.
• Maintain complete, accurate documentation in line with SOPs and GMP standards.

• $32.49/Hour starting rate (+OT opportunity)

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING:

Requirement:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-4 years hands-on: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC/HMI, or HVAC
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills; English fluency

Preferred:

• Trade or technical school certification (electrical, PLC/HMI, welding, refrigeration, or plumbing)
• Manufacturing environment background.
