As a Maintenance Technician at Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, you will maintain hotel operations by addressing maintenance requests, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all systems and equipment function efficiently.

About Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark

Located within historic Lake Geneva, Timber Ridge Lodge offers indoor/outdoor waterpark excitement, golf courses, a spa, ski park, restaurants, and scenic grounds. Just 90 minutes from Chicago and 50 from Milwaukee, it’s a family destination with year-round activities.

Responsibilities include:

1. Address guest and staff maintenance requests promptly to foster excellent rapport.
2. Perform daily shift reports, document calls, and monitor maintenance logs.
3. Follow OSHA standards and safety procedures.
4. Conduct preventative maintenance on furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
5. Assist in cost control and recommend improvements.
6. Troubleshoot and repair building systems, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and controls.
7. Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or trade school degree, with 1-2 years’ maintenance experience.
• Technical skills and proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Commitment to safety protocols.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
