Role Description

The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in LaGrange, GA. This role is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Daily tasks include inspecting machinery, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, and executing preventive maintenance schedules in accordance with company standards. The Maintenance Technician will collaborate with production and safety teams to minimize downtime, document maintenance activities, and support continuous improvement of equipment performance. This role may also assist with installation of new equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and participation in shift coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance for manufacturing environments.
• Ability to perform Maintenance & Repair on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with Troubleshooting equipment issues and identifying root causes.
• Proficiency in planning and executing Preventive Maintenance to reduce downtime.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance, industrial technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with operations and leadership teams.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
• Prior experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting is highly beneficial.
