Job summary

Catawba Two Kings Casino is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the casino’s facilities, equipment, and systems operate safely and efficiently across gaming floors, restaurants, hotel areas, and back-of-house spaces.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of maintenance experience, be proficient with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry, and be able to read blueprints and work with vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of three years of maintenance experience in a commercial, hospitality, or casino environment.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems; carpentry required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on casino facilities, including gaming areas, restaurants, hotel rooms, and common spaces.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to minimize downtime.
• Respond promptly to maintenance of specialized casino equipment (lighting, security systems, surveillance equipment, signage, etc.).
• Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and in compliance with OSHA and gaming requirements.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in compliance with company policies.
• Support special projects such as remodels, upgrades, or installations within the property.
• Work collaboratively with other departments and outside vendors to ensure timely and effective resolution of maintenance issues.
• Perform daily facilities tasks, such as landscaping, carpentry, handy-man, and sanitation.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
