Job summary

CBRE HV is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a healthcare campus of four buildings, handling preventive maintenance, repairs and system troubleshooting. The role includes day shift hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an on-call rotation every four weeks and occasional overtime opportunities.

The ideal candidate has HVAC preventive maintenance experience, basic electrical repairs, drywall and painting skills, and a willingness to learn in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Driver license required
• Must meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, lift/carry 50 lbs+)
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards
• Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information and use MS Office tools

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a healthcare campus consisting of four buildings, supporting building systems, industrial equipment, and overall facility operations. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function and is responsible for providing preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and support for equipment and systems. A valid driver's license is required as occasional local travel may be needed to pick up parts or support a nearby facility.

This position primarily operates on a day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an on-call rotation of one week every four weeks and occasional overtime opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience with HVAC preventive maintenance, basic electrical repairs, drywall repair, painting, and general building maintenance, while being willing to learn and grow within a healthcare environment.

Job Description

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Driver License Require
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
