Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a healthcare campus consisting of multiple buildings on a single site. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections on mechanical, electrical, and building systems in a day-shift role from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a monthly on-call rotation.

No travel between locations is required. You should be skilled in CMMS-driven work orders, be able to work independently in a healthcare setting, and hold a valid driver's license for

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment within a healthcare facility environment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and building systems. The role supports a healthcare campus consisting of multiple buildings on the same site, providing a stable work environment with no travel required between locations.

This is a day-shift position working from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with participation in a flexible on-call rotation approximately once per month. Candidates should have experience with general building maintenance, work orders, and CMMS systems, as well as the ability to work independently in a healthcare setting. A valid driver's license is required, as there may be opportunities to operate a company vehicle while supporting facility operations.

Job Description

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
