Job summary

SPM, LLC in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our communities safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for residents who call them home.

You’ll troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, complete requests within 24 hours, perform routine upkeep, and collaborate with a caring team to deliver quality living experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous property maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of HVAC, appliances, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of maintaining the community's physical condition, inside and out.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, electrical issues, plumbing problems, and appliances (stoves, dishwashers, refrigerators, disposals, etc.).
• Complete service requests within 24 hours quickly, efficiently, and with care,
• Perform routine upkeep and preventive maintenance to keep everything running smoothly,
• Help maintain curb appeal: remove debris, pressure wash exteriors, maintain grounds, and more.
• Rotate on-call duties with the maintenance team for after-hours and occasional holiday/weekend support.
• Keep inventory of commonly used parts and materials to control maintenance expenditures.
• Collaborate with team members and vendors and always go the extra mile for residents.

What You’ll Do:
