Job summary

Hollman, Inc. is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Texas. The role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of building systems and facilities to ensure a safe, fully operational work environment.

Responsibilities include HVAC and electrical troubleshooting, plumbing repairs, preventative maintenance, and safe operation of maintenance tools. Strong reading of blueprints and a proactive maintenance approach are expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, boiler, septic, sewage, and general building maintenance systems.
• Ability to safely operate common maintenance tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs, changing HVAC filters, and conducting preventative maintenance.
• Repair broken or leaking plumbing fixtures to prevent water damage and restore functionality.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including damaged wiring, shorts, and severed lines.
• Perform painting and minor carpentry repairs as needed.
• Conduct inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Submit parts and supply requests when materials are needed for repairs.
• Weatherize facilities by repairing weather stripping and replacing insulation when necessary.
• Complete and update work orders accurately, including documenting services performed and closing requests upon completion.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with facility improvement projects and other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
