Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the Afternoon shift. You will troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery electrical systems, mechanical systems and electronic components. The role requires an A.S.

degree in Mechanical or Electronics Technology or equivalent experience, and 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, component replacement, and compliance with EHS and Quality

Qualifications

• AS degree in Mechanical or Electronics Technology preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• 2–5 years industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment preventative maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot machines and equipment breakdowns to diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic problems.
• Disassemble and reassemble machines and sub-assemblies to perform repairs.
• Replace broken or defective machine and equipment parts.
• Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors and position sensing devices.
• Follow all applicable EHS, Quality and Food Safety procedures and protocols, and report incidents to supervisor.
• Complete all EHS, Quality and Food Safety applicable training.
• Support implementation of the Quality and Food Safety program and comply with expectations if part of the Food Safety or Internal Audit team.
• Diagnose, repair and replace faulty electronic components such as drives and PLCs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Troubleshoots and repairs industrial machinery electrical systems, mechanical systems and electronic components.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
