Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies located in Indianapolis is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will troubleshoot and maintain mechanical systems in a powder production plant while participating in safety initiatives.

Maintenance Technician – 2nd shift (02:00pm – 10:30pm), Monday – Friday – Indianapolis, IN, United States

Responsibilities

• troubleshoot, repair, install, modify, and maintain mechanical equipment and systems in a powder production plant
• support and participate in current and new safety initiatives and policies
• ensure all equipment documentation is complete and properly processed
• maintain and update necessary documents as they pertain to the maintenance and facilities department
• communicate equipment repair timelines and document findings in the plant CCMS database
• perform preventive maintenance on equipment and plant systems

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Three to five years of industrial maintenance experience
• Experience reading and understanding electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Suite
• Experience with any CCMS database preferred
• Will be required to work occasional weekend coverage
• Training may be required on first shift as necessary
