Job summary

Qualifications

• A technical diploma, associate degree, or certification in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing automated manufacturing or production machinery.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled production equipment.
• Experience with European automated machinery is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical components, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair automated production machinery.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on European-manufactured equipment, CNC machines, saws, routers, edgebanders, sanders, paint and finishing systems, and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and identify problems involving sensors, inputs, outputs, relays, motors, drives, and control systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Use diagnostic tools and a systematic troubleshooting process to determine the root cause of equipment failures.
• Respond quickly to production breakdowns and complete repairs safely with minimal direction.
• Recommend and implement improvements that reduce downtime and increase equipment reliability and production efficiency.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records to support data-driven decisions.
• Follow and enforce plant safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and machine-guarding standards.
