Job summary

B & M Management Company, L.L.C. in Houston is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to review service requests, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion.

You will establish inventory, track work performed, and certify contractor work before payment. The role requires excellent communication, basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, OneSite), and a solid understanding of Fair Housing laws.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication with residents, prospects, employees, peers and vendors.
• Basic understanding of Federal, State and local Fair Housing laws.

Responsibilities

• Reviews service requests and assigns to appropriate employee for completion.
• Complete daily service requests.
• Reviews the returned service request completion report to ensure all assigned service requests have been completed satisfactorily and timely.
• Establishes and maintains an inventory of parts, materials and supplies determining which items will be stocked and the appropriate amounts and which items will be purchased on an as needed basis.
• Record work performed on resident service requests accurately and in detail.
• Certifies the work performed by contractors is property completed prior to payment being issued.
• Performs maintenance and repairs in areas of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, painting and other building repairs.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe working environment.
